Presently, the portion of DDE adoption in developed countries has increased annually to 90%, while in China the DDE system and relevant measures are deficient for more than 90% institutes.
"Data is a vital matter bearing on national economic security, economic lifeline and national sovereignty. Once the data disaster happens, it may paralyze government and enterprises seriously." said Mr. Liu. Currently, China is accelerating the DDE development. Since 2007, the government has investigated many cities, and finally chose Chongqing as its site.
According to the agreement, the planning building area of EC Project covers 34,000 square meters, and the gross investment reaches 1.15 billion. The project includes the construction of two High-level Data Disaster Eliminating Center buildings, and the establishment of all-in-one service platform for service outsourcing enterprises, government departments at all levels and relevant service units. It will come into being in 2 years, and Chongqing will be the second city with EC Project besides Beijing, and the only one with permanent EC Project in Southwest China. |
