| MOU signed with world's top IT training institute
According to the Organizational Department of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, in order to create Asia's biggest laptop base, a delegation has paid visits to India and Japan for personnel exchanges. During the visits, the delegation has signed a MOU with India National Institute of Information Technology(NIIT), Asia's only global top 20 IT training provider, and an introduction and training program with Japan to develop IT talents.
300 software engineering specialists will be trained every year
Early this month, a delegation consists of members from Xiyong Micro-electronics Park, North New Zone (High-tech Development Zone), South-West University, Chongqing Urban Management College and Chongqing Zhengda Software Group Co., Ltd. organized by the Organizational Department of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, Chongqing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Chongqing Economic and Information Commission has visited India and Japan for recruiting talents.
South-West University, Chongqing Urban Management College and North New Zone (High-tech Development Zone) all signed MOUs with NIIT on increased cooperation and exchange on cooperation model, students training and exchange of teachers and students, as well as joint establishment of a software and information service talents training institute.
From this year, the "100 Mid and Senior Level Software Outsourcing Talents Training Program" (SOTTP ) and the "Program for Recruiting and Training of Specialists from Japan" will be implemented under the leadership of Chongqing Economic and Information Commission, according to which every year 100 technical and management people in service outsourcing sector will be selected and funded to further study in India and Japan, and 300 specialists with software development experience will be developed.
50 overseas talents showed interests in working in Chongqing
Chongqing has held talents cooperation fairs successively in Bangalore Software Technology Park of India, NIIT and Chinese Academy of Science and Engineering in Japan, attracting 50 overseas professional talents, among whom 3 signed contracts and 47 reached letters of intent. 60% of them hold Ph.D degree in the fields of IT, automobile, medicine and law.
Dr. Taoye, guest graduate student from International Politics Culture Department of Japanese Thammasat University, Dr. Zang Zhiyong, graduate student from Toyo University, and Dr. Zhou Linyan, from National Institute for Basic Biology have officially signed contracts. They all meet the requirements of ASPSOT, and will hold related technical positions in South-West University. |
