On the morning of August 17, leaders from Software Office met the management team of Software Park Development Center in Jinshan Building. The two parties exchanged views on the software park management model and the software industry development orientation.

    Established in Dec. 1998, Xi’an Software Park is a software development and service outsourcing park in Xi’an High and New Technology Zone. It has been selected as National Torch Plan Software Industry Base, National Software Industry Base, National Software Export Base and National Service Outsourcing Base City Demonstrative Zone, being one of the domestic parks owning four national software “double base”. Over 90% software and service outsourcing enterprises of Xi’an gathers here. Since it opened in Sept. 2001, the growth rate of this industry keeps at 30%, and the newly added enterprises reaches 100 every year while the newly-added employed people comes to 10,000 to 20,000 every year, making it a enterprises cluster full of characteristic, vigor and potential in terms of software development, software application and information service. Xi’an Software Park aims to develop itself being the “domestic leading” and “international top” global software R&D and service outsourcing base. In 2015, it is expected to being an intelligent software new zone integrating five supporting industries including software R&D, information technology service, integrated innovation application, service outsourcing as well as integrated circuit design and application. At that time, the operating revenue is expected to reach RMB 160 billion, while the export value reach RMB 800 million, with 1000 well-known software enterprises both at home and aboard gathering here and the employed people reaching 200,000.
