Chongqing New North Zone (CNNZ) was established and became the youngest zone of Chongqing, which is also the youngest municipality of China. It covers a planning area of 136.6 square kilometers and will be built into a modern industry based on the basis of hi-tech industry and an economy growth area among economic circles and a beautiful scene of metropolis.

After 6-year¡¯s construction of infrastructure, CNNZ, located in the north of the main urban areas, has a solid transportation network with water transportation, aviation, roads and railways, which is the only one in western China. Seven main traffic lines named after ¡°Gold¡±, international airport, container terminal, train station and high way extend in all directions.

After 6-year¡¯s investment inviting, there have been two pillar industries ¡ª automotive, small parts and instruments, and two leading industries ¡ª information technology and biologic technique in CNNZ. More than 800 enterprises moved in the zone, among which 39% are from Europe and America. Some World Top 500, such as Ford, Coca Cola, Ericsson, Visteon¡­and some well-known domestic and overseas enterprises, such as XINWEI, HIFU, LIFAN and FUYAO¡­, are all making great efforts on economic development in CNNZ. The total industrial output has increased 39 fold, 109 percent per year. The State taxation has increased 41 fold, 111.3 percent per year.

After 6-year¡¯s construction of environment, here has been a new international residence, the most comfortable place to live in, with residence of Italian style, restaurants street of traditional Chinese style, sports center of Japanese style, golf course of American Style, first-class international school and hospital, which are designed with western concept and traditional Chinese concept of the harmony of mountains, waters, gardens and forests.
